Research administration at BiO and NCMM
Research administration focuses mainly on application for external funding and following up of external funded projects - especially budget and finances.
When an application for external funding is granted, the group leader and the administration at BiO and NCMM needs to work together to facilitate good administration:
All BiO and NCMM groups are obliged to apply for external funding, but when doing so - you must be aware of basic rules and routines that apply when an UiO-employees do this: All applications sent are UiO-applications, which means that it is the institution that apply, not the individual researcher. Hence they have to be formally accepted as applications from UiO by Kjetil, Elin or Ragni - (or the Research director - if this is an EU-grant application) before they are sent, and "total budgets" must always be filled out and filed along with the application.
